Ouma’s guesthouse was inspired by the lack of proper accommodation for people visiting the area of GaMatlala for leisure, visiting friends and family, attending weddings and funerals of loved once.
Most often people will have to book accommodation in Polokwane City which is +_ 55km depending on where you are going, in some instances is even up to 85km depending on where you are going. We then decided to make you a home away from home “Ouma Guesthouse in your service”. The name Ouma is an Afrikaans word referring to grandmother or an elderly woman.
Ouma guesthouse boast 10 beautiful and spacious rooms, equipped with a bar fridge, flat-screen TV with satellite dish, we also offer free WIFI to our patrons. At Ouma’s guesthouse, we pride ourselves in that we offer a “Friendly service with a smile”. We also offer laundry services and car wash at a cost, ask at the reception.
Our friendly staff is always there to make you feel at home 24/7. There is plenty of free secure parking. The venue is embedded in the lush bushes with a mixture of primitive and modern sophistication where you can always spot domestic animals, wake up to a rooster’s call in the morning or take 5 minutes’ drive to the mall of Tibane to get your necessities.
The guest house is named after my late wife Ouma who was named after her grandmother. It is situated at Ga-Ramokadikadi (affectionately known as Vlakfontein) an affluent, large village in Ga-Matlala in the Aganang Local Municipality of the Capricorn District Municipality of the Limpopo province.
